The Impact of Volunteering at Language&Partner: Insights from Our Dedicated Volunteers

Introduction

Hi there, my name is Ema, and today I’m going to show you what it means to be a volunteer at L&P.

As you might have heard, I am not alone in our volunteering crew, so I am going to share not only our insights but also all the memories, mistakes, and opinions of our amazing team So, I hope you’re seated comfortably because we’re about to begin:

WHAT DOES IT MEAN VOLUNTEERING AT LANGUAGE&PARTNER?

As much as I’d like to jump right into it, I have to pause.

"What does it actually mean to be a volunteer at L&P?"

Don’t worry. When I started, I felt nervous too because most of us hadn’t worked in any kind of program similar to this before joining. It felt new and challenging, but despite the fear, we worked it out, didn’t we? Therefore, just as we did, you can too. Being a volunteer means helping around the whole school. One day you’re making hot chocolate, and the next you’re DJ-ing at our yearly Christmas singing event. Being a volunteer isn’t a job with a strict definition; it means being where you’re needed but also having fun while doing so.

WHAT CAN A READER GAIN FROM THIS BLOG?

By reading this blog you’re going to find out:

  • our thoughts about the program

  • the memories we’ve made together

  • the work environment at L&P and much more

So don’t hesitate and go greet our volunteers!
